Better-tasting water
Reduce chlorine taste and unpleasant odors for fresher drinking, cooking, coffee, tea, and ice.
The Apex HRC Whole House Carbon Water Filtration System reduces chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odors, VOCs, and common organic contaminants throughout your home—helping deliver better-tasting water while protecting plumbing, fixtures, appliances, and everyday comfort.

Benefits for Your Home & Family
Carbon filtration improves the water experience throughout the home by reducing chlorine, odors, and common organic contaminants before they reach your faucets, showers, appliances, and plumbing.
Reduce chlorine taste and unpleasant odors for fresher drinking, cooking, coffee, tea, and ice.
Enjoy water with less chlorine exposure during bathing and showering throughout the home.
Cleaner source water allows beverages and food to taste more like they should.
Reducing chlorine may help water feel gentler during daily bathing and personal care.
Help reduce chemical exposure throughout fixtures, valves, seals, and plumbing components.
Deliver filtered water to washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters, and other water-using equipment.
Premium carbon media adsorbs many VOCs and organic chemicals commonly associated with municipal water.
Improve water quality at every treated faucet—not only at the kitchen sink.
How It Works
Water passes through high-surface-area coconut shell activated carbon. The media adsorbs chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odors, VOCs, and many organic contaminants. The system then backwashes automatically to clean and reclassify the media bed.
Incoming household water flows into the mineral tank.
Premium activated carbon captures chlorine and many organic compounds.
The control valve periodically flushes and reclassifies the media bed.
Filtered water is delivered throughout the home at strong service flow.
Premium Coconut Shell Carbon
Coconut shell activated carbon is valued for its dense pore structure and large internal surface area. This allows the media to adsorb chlorine, tastes, odors, VOCs, and many common organic contaminants as water flows through the tank.
Built for Performance
System Specifications
Final tank size, media volume, plumbing connections, and flow requirements are selected according to household demand, water conditions, and installation configuration.

Polyethylene inner shell with chemical-resistant composite construction and premium mineral tank design.
High-capacity activated carbon media selected for chlorine, taste, odor, VOC, and organic contaminant reduction.
Automatic backwashing valve helps clean and reclassify the media bed to maintain performance.
Available for residential and light-commercial whole-building water filtration applications.
Selected system components utilize NSF-tested and Pentair-tested design standards.
Composite tank designs may provide a 4:1 safety factor and cycle testing up to 250,000 cycles without leakage, depending on model.
Multiple tank sizes and media capacities are available to support different homes, flow rates, and peak demand.
Specifications are based on manufacturer and component data shown in Apex source materials. Actual system sizing, contaminant reduction, installation requirements, flow performance, media life, and service intervals vary according to local water chemistry, plumbing, usage, selected equipment, and operating conditions. Carbon filtration does not soften hard water or reduce dissolved minerals.
